Calling Custom API and Custom Function using Power Automate Flow.

Hello Guys,

In our previous blog we have seen how to use OOB Web API using Power Automate Flow. Today we will see how to use Custom API and Custom Function using Power Automate Flow.

But before do follow us to know more about Dynamics and Power Platform. Also if you like our blog then please comment and share this blog with your friends.

Till the time we have seen how to create Custom API, Custom Function an How to connect OOB API using Power Automate Flow. You can learn these all concept using below links:

Calling Custom API using Power Automate Flow is similar to calling Bound and Unbound Action using Power Automate flow.

So now we will be calling Custom Function using Power Automate Flow. We will be working with same example which we have created in our previous blogs.

As you can see we have already connected D365 using Power automate and OOB API.

Now we will calling GetEntities Custom Function using same API. Select last step and click on three(...) dots and click on Copy to My Clipboard.

Add on new step and select My Clip Board and click on the step.

Configure the step as shown below:

Now add new step and select Compose and configure it as shown below:

So our flow is ready now. Now we will run this flow and check the output.

Click on Test.

Hope it helps...
