Introduction to Microsoft Copilot : Conditions and Topic management in Microsoft Copilot Studio.

In our previous blog, we learnt how we can store information in a variable. Now we will see how to add conditions.

In our previous blog, we have captured date information. Now we will be forcing user to enter future date.

Just after the Travel Date question, click on + button and add conditions as follows:



Now here if user will enter future date, conversation will continue. Else we need to ask the same question again and again. To do so, just after the message, click on + sign and select topic management. Under that select go to step and select Travel Date question.



Now we will be adding one more variable named varBudgetAmount and we will be calculating this variable value using budget option. Once you add budget option, AI will automatically create conditions for you. You can modify them as per your requirements.




Now add you message step as shown below:



Once done, we will end our conversation. To do so, click on + sign, and select Topic management and then End conversation.



Save the changes and publish your agent.
